Manufacturing Assembler

ummary:

Performs production assembly of instruments and accessories per approved documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assemble instruments and accessories per mechanical drawings.

2. Responsible to insure FAM-100 standards is complete in all assemblies.

3. Assemble production and prototype circuit boards.

4. Rework and/or incorporate engineering changes in all instrument accessories.

5. Initiate flow tags and complete accurate build documentation.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

§ Able to read mechanical drawings and specifications

§ Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills (data input and information look up).

§ Proven ability in thru-hole and surface mount soldering to IPC-610 standards.

§ Working knowledge in use of standard glues and adhesives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

§ High School Diploma or equivalent

§ Good hands-on skills in conjunction with training involving electronic assembly
