Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex equipment problems (i.e., those that can not be solved solely by reference to manufacturer's manuals or similar documents). Repair, calibrate, certify, upgrade, and install ECO's to new and customer equipment within the full product line. Provide support to assembly group, engineering, and customers as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Perform calibration, run cycle, and final testing per written procedures, ensuring full functionality to specifications before being submitted to stock or shipped to customer.
2.Exercise independent judgment in trouble-shooting failures, circuit analysis, calculating waveforms, and tracing signal flow.
3.Proficiently use complex test instruments (e.g., dual trace oscilloscopes, Q-meters, deviation meters, pulse generators).
4.Exercise a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits.
5.Provide independent customer support for products or portions of a product.
6.Document accurate test findings and failure analysis on flow tags, data sheets, calibration certificates, and data tracking systems.
7.Perform hardware/software validations of new product and updates.
Anforderungen
·Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications
·Knowledge of the use of electrical test equipment
·Use of standard computer software
·Associate degree or two-year technical certificate in electronics or a related field required. Work experience may be substituted for education.
·2-3 years experience as an electronics assembler with test experience
