Technical Services Inspector (RVI Business Support)

Job Summary:

The Technical Services Inspector is responsible for performing incoming and outgoing quality assurance inspections of sophisticated microelectronics and mechanical equipment. Reports directly to the ONDT Factory Customer Service Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for performing incoming and outgoing quality assurance inspections of sophisticated microelectronics and mechanical equipment.

· As the equipment is inspected, enter a detailed report about the condition of the equipment along with the required parts, labor and repairs. Document all shipping / instrument related damage with digital camera for customer review.

· Upon completion of equipment inspection a detailed list of equipment is provided for quotation by the Customer Service Representative.

· After a Service Technician completes the repair, the Technical Services Inspector will complete a detailed review of the repair to ensure the equipment is fully operational and meets the company's strict quality guidelines. Review all inspection reports for accuracy.

· Document and return any instrument that fails final
contract review process.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent Electro /mechanical assembly ability

· Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems to the board level is required

· Excellent Microsoft office skills - Word, Excel, Power Point etc .

· Input quality data, create monthly reports.

· Excel in fast paced environment, ability to multi-task and work / meet shipping deadlines

· Associates degree or equivalent is required

· Minimum 5 years experience related to the repair of intricate mechanical systems and microelectronic equipment

· Prior formal training in the repair of intricate mechanical and microelectronics equipment

· 2 pus years Quality review training / experience
