Our in-line inspection systems with advanced data acquisition units, probes, and software provide analysis of a wide range of manufactured components. In-line inspection systems assure accuracy and cost control. Olympus NDT offers a host of integrated high-speed inspection.

OmniScan® IX

The R/D Tech OmniScan IX is an advanced flaw detector that can be configured for 2, 4, or 8 conventional ultrasound channels. The unit is designed for high-speed component testing in immersion and non-immersion industrial applications.


QuickScan™ PA

Designed for inline inspections, this rack-mountable high-speed R/D Tech phased array acquisition system offers solutions for various industrial applications such as ERW tube and full-body inspections.


QuickScan™ EC

The QuickScan EC is a digital instrument designed for the inspection of ferrous and nonferrous materials using multielement probes. The capacities and flexibility of this system make it suitable for many applications such as surface inspection or measurement of material properties.


QuickScan™ UT

This compact UT instrument represents the new standard in ultrasound and phased array acquisitions systems. This R/D Tech unit, driven by TomoView software, offers superior analysis capabilities.



Plates

Our eddy current array inspection system advantageously replaces liquid penetrant in the inspection of flat surfaces, producing results much faster and without any chemical handling. Furthermore, results are stored on standard PC-based hardware and can be transferred in customized reports.


Wire, Rod, and Bars Inspection

This is the now standard R/D Tech solution for Schumag-type drawing machines. It offers a unique floating feature. The probe support is composed of two hinged-panel centering devices. Each centering device houses two rows of three rolls offering highly precise guidance.



ERW Tube Inspections

The ERW manufacturing process involves the forming of cold-rolled strips into tubular products. The quality of these strips determines the quality of the tube body. Olympus NDT offers an eddy current array inspection system for ferromagnetic and nonferromagnetic strips.
