Job Description

Objectives and Functions:

The Sensor Assembler performs routine hands-on assembly tasks in the manufacture of eddy current probes, ultrasonic transducers or BondMaster sensors. A Sensor Assembler will become familiar with the applicable NDT inspection equipment and processes as part of the assembly process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop the capability to work with small tools required in the precise and intricate processing on standard product sensors.

2. Become familiar with all materials and equipment required to fabricate sensors through the complete assembly process.

3. Demonstrate basic understanding of eddy current, ultrasonic or BondMaster inspection methods and its application in the sensor assembly process.

4. Become familiar with the procedures required in the assembly of sensors, assuring products of high quality are produced.

5. Completion of assigned production orders for assembly of standard product sensors.


Requirements

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

· Able to read mechanical drawings and specifications

· Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills (data input and information look up).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Good hands-on skills in conjunction with training involving electronic assembly.
