The Engine Probe Assembler performs routine hands-on assembly tasks in the manufacture of eddy current probes. A Sensor Assembler will become familiar with the applicable NDT inspection equipment and processes as part of the assembly process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Develop the capability to work with small tools required in the precise and intricate processing on standard product sensors.
2.Become familiar with all materials and equipment required to fabricate sensors through the complete assembly process.
3.Demonstrate basic understanding of eddy current methods and its application in the sensor assembly process.
4.Become familiar with the procedures required in the assembly of sensors, assuring products of high quality are produced.
5.Completion of assigned production orders for assembly of standard product sensors.
6.Help track inventory to make sure jobs are picked complete.
Requirements
Good hands-on skills in conjunction with training involving electronic assembly.
Ability to read mechanical Blueprints and specifications.
Basic computer skills
Ability to solder preferred.
Minimum educational requirements - high school diploma or GED
