2-Axis Magnetically Attached Automated Scanner

The GPS-1000 scanner is designed to perform automated multiaxis ultrasonic scanning for corrosion mapping and weld inspection.
The GPS-1000 the perfect complement to ultrasonic systems such as the OmniScan® UT and Multiscan MS 5800™. The standard X-axis scan arm length is 50 cm (24 in.).

To perform corrosion mapping using conventinal UT we suggest the use of:

• 5 MHz, dual-element UT probe,12.5-mm element diameter

To perform corrosion mapping using phased array UT we suggest the use of:

• 7.5 MHz, 60-element phased array probe
