Provide expertise in the mechanical engineering of Non-Destructive Test equipment in all aspects. Lead in the design, development, documentation and sustainment of precision electro-mechanical assemblies and their components.
DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES
1.Design of Ultrasonic Transducer and Eddy Current Based Probes- Contribute to new product designs and re-engineer existing products to improve their manufacturability.
2.Design of Calibration Block Standards- Application of metallurgy and knowledge of precision machining processes.
3.Fixtures and Tooling- Conceive and Design fixtures and tooling that ease manufacture and/or assembly of precision probes and electro-mechanical assemblies.
4.CAD/CAMModels- Create 3-D models for the fabrication of precision injection molds and Ultrasonic Probe standards blocks.
5.Sustainment- Maintain product mechanical documentation and provide parts, products and assembly process improvements.
