Obsolete Products

This product has been replaced by the OmniScan MX

The WorkStation 2000 is a modular, multi-discipline NDT instrument capable of operating as an Ultrasonic or Eddy Current flaw detector. The WorkStation 2000 is made up of three basic components: Base Unit, Control Panel, front-end module.

By using our innovative 'Universal Control Panel', you may quickly load the base unit with either an Ultrasonic or Eddy Current front-end module and begin testing; the control panel will automatically populate the menus with the technology that you have selected.

If you only require the use of one technology (just Ultrasonic or just Eddy Current), then select a dedicated control panel. For example:

  • If you will just be performing Ultrasonic inspection: Use the Sonic Control Panel and load the base unit with one of our three Ultrasonic modules (Sonic 200, Sonic 210, Sonic 211).
  • If you will just be performing Eddy Current inspection: Use the Nortec Control Panel and load the base unit with one of our four Eddy Current modules (Nortec 200, Nortec 210, Nortec 215, Nortec 220).
